# Composability

Composability is the ability to seamlessly interact with all protocols, smart contracts, and apps in a network. Composability allows for developers to have the freedom to develop whatever they want, wherever they want.

Composability via smart contracts brought about DeFi summer and innovations like Yield Aggregators, DEXs, Lending, Flash Loans, and many more primitives that are essential to how users interact with blockchains today.

NodeKit enables atomic composability which was previously limited to siloed chains to be accessible between chains. All the primitives previously built on siloed chains can be accessed across multiple chains within a single block. Users have a unified experience while still benefiting from the specializations and optimizations of each chain. Apps get the power to access users and liquidity anywhere, allowing them to grow without being locked into a single ecosystem.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://nodekit.gitbook.io/nodekit-documentation/core-advantages/composability.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
